At ROC Physical Therapy, we understand that everybody’s abilities, needs, and goals are different, which is why our 1-on-1 General Fitness Training sessions are 100% individualized to each client. Working with a Doctor of Physical Therapy to focus on improving, mobility, strength and performance for life is the perfect way to progress from physical therapy to address more health and wellness goals or to just start moving under the guidance of a medical professional that also has certifications strength and conditioning.
What to expect:
We will discuss your training history, relevant injury/medical history, fitness goals, and any exercise preferences. We will also perform movement screens to identify strengths, weaknesses, asymmetries, mobility restrictions, and coordination/balance limitations.
Using this information, we will work together to create a fitness program that is tailored to you. Based on our assessment we can help create programs that you can complete at home, at your gym and weekly or semi-monthly with us at our clinic.
